While moving can be fun, some people may not agree with this. The reason for this is these people can’t organize their time and so, they can’t organize their move too. Consequently, they don’t enjoy the move. If you are one of such people and are about to move, don’t make the same mistakes these people made. Here are 5 people who need tips on moving house.

1. People who want to Save Money

Saving money is not bad. But if you are causing inconvenience to yourself and your family for saving money, it’s certainly bad. The first mistake the budget-oriented people do is to move on their own, instead of hiring a removalist in Sydney North Shore.

While doing this, they should first think if they have enough time and organisation required for a smooth self-move. Moving on your own requires a lot of organisation of time and various tasks to be completed.

If you are short of time, you may not be able to complete all the necessary tasks you should do before moving and the result is a disorganised move which in fact costs more money.

2. People who do Packing on Their Own

People who choose to do the packing on their own may do this for various purposes, of which saving money may be the primary purpose. Overconfidence that they can pack their belongings may also be one reason.

However, if this confidence is not true, it can result in a packing blunder. And this can further result in damage to their valuable belongings when they reach their destination. Professional removalists in Western Sydney have knowledge and years of experience of packing various things. While we may move once or twice in our lifetime, they regularly help people move, almost daily. Therefore, our packing skills cannot match theirs.

3. People who Make Wrong Use of Packing Supplies

There are lots of types of packing supplies, including boxes as well as duct tape. A disorganised move is often characterised by the wrong use of packing supplies.

This means these people may use a box meant for packing glasses for packing shoes by removing the dividers inside or can tie furniture on the top of their car with duct tape! This may result in serious damage to your belongings.

If you tie furniture or other valuable items with duct tape to the top or side or back of the car, it may get loose after some time of traveling and fall down while you move forward in the car.

And after you pack shoes in a glass box, your glasses may remain behind due to lack of a proper box to pack them and if you again pack them in a box meant for something else, they may break during the journey.

4. People who Choose a Wrong Vehicle

A small vehicle carrying a lot of items or bulky items is certainly a grave mistake. This may not only cause damage to the belongings but can also result in a serious accident.

Because of the heavy and/or bulky luggage, a small vehicle like a motorbike or car can lose balance and an accident may take place. So you are risking the life of yourself and your family at the same time.

5. People who Pack Pets!

And lastly – though I don’t believe this – there are people who pack their pets! They can use anything from a box to bubble wrap to a cloth to pack their pets! While there are people who take extra care of their pet’s emotional situation during the move, there are people who don’t bother to throw the poor animals into boxes or wraps. Well, this is enough of it – just don’t do that!

About The Author

Bill Chen

Before 2008, Bill was working with a local removalist company in Sydney and was witness for a number of deformities and wrongs in the working of the company. Observing the atmosphere, a thought came to Bill’s mind that he could do much better if he were the owner of the company, by offering a fully transparent service to the clients with a friendly and trustworthy staff and no hidden fee structure; and thus, in 2008, AAA Bill Removalists Sydney was formed with just one truck and only Bill as staff. Even if Bill Chen began the company as just one man, the company grew fast. The operation expanded beyond the Sydney suburbs and to the surrounding cities: Wollongong, Wagga Wagga, Albury, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Coffs Harbour, Canberra, Newcastle, Melbourne, Brisbane, and other.
